Seto ware sake cup

[Limited to 8 pieces]
This sake cup was created by Seto ware artist Konomi Mizuno using the "cloisonné enamel on porcelain" technique.
The design features carp swimming up a waterfall, goldfish, and a raft of flowers, all rendered with delicate silver lines and glaze.
Each handmade piece is unique, ranging from those that simply showcase the soft texture of the glaze to those incorporating blue to represent the surface of water.
Each sake cup is adorned with cherry blossoms, evoking the feeling of spring.

<Author Introduction: Konomi Mizuno>
This work revives the "phantom cloisonné enamel" technique, known as "ceramic cloisonné," which was produced for a few years from the late Edo period to the Meiji era.
In 2025, I will hold a solo exhibition at Kuroda Touen in Ginza.
The artist's work is characterized by its delicate and elegant form, born from meticulous, time-consuming, and labor-intensive processes.
